Job summary

The Acting Associate Dean for Research at the University of Vermont's College of Nursing and Health Sciences leads the college's research enterprise for the Spring 2027 semester. Qualifications

CNHS faculty appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor is required.
Experience with grant development and externally funded research is preferred.
Demonstrated leadership, communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership for CNHS research priorities and advise the Dean on opportunities, challenges, and resource needs.
Support faculty research development, including grant planning, proposal development, funding opportunities, and interprofessional collaborations.
Oversee pre- and post-award research administration in collaboration with CNHS staff and university offices.
Represent CNHS in University research leadership activities and communicate priorities to College leadership.
