Job summary

MATRIX-IFS is seeking an experienced AML Business Analyst in Jersey City, NJ to drive requirements, perform gap analyses, and collaborate closely with technology teams. You will prepare test scripts, document results, and support AML modules like SAM, CDD, and WLF on an Actimize upgrade project.

Occasional travel and strong communication with executives are expected. The role requires 3+ years in financial AML, solid SDLC understanding, and experience with both Waterfall and Agile methods.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a business analyst in AML in financial services or with vendors/banks.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and tested experience with Waterfall or Agile projects.
• Ability to write test cases, scripts and test plans.
• Strong communication with senior executives and clients.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and perform gap analysis.
• Translate requirements for technology teams and prioritize issues.
• Prepare and execute test cases and scripts; document results.
• Lead client workshops, assessments, and strategic planning activities.
• Travel occasionally as needed.
• Support AML concepts across SAM, CDD, and WLF modules on Actimize.
