Job summary

Clarvida seeks an ACT Vocational Specialist to join a multidisciplinary team supporting adults with serious mental illness. You will guide clients through career training, job development, and ongoing support to achieve long-term workforce success.

Work closely with therapists, case managers, peer specialists, and other professionals to deliver holistic care aligned with each client's recovery goals. A bachelor's degree in a related field and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of verifiable vocational rehabilitation training and/or experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Quicken programs.
• Valid Georgia Driver’s License and clean MVR.
• Clean criminal background check (no history of abuse, neglect, or exploitation).

Responsibilities

• Assess the impact of mental health on employment and help clients set and achieve employment goals
• Provide job training, career coaching, and job placement support
• Support clients in developing and maintaining independent employment
• Educate clients about financial management, benefits, and employer disability disclosure
• Connect clients to community resources and offer crisis intervention when necessary
• Provide transportation for clients to job sites, interviews, and other necessary appointments
• Participate in an on-call rotation every six weeks
