Southern Highlands Community Mental Health Center is seeking a compassionate ACT Therapist to join our Assertive Community Treatment team, providing individual, group, and family therapy and coordinating care in office and community settings.

The role emphasizes crisis intervention, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and thorough documentation to support recovery goals and meaningful independence for clients.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in a human services field.
• Active professional licensure preferred.
• One year of counseling/clinical experience preferred.
• Experience with serious mental illness and community-based behavioral health services preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, therapeutic, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability and willingness to provide services in community-based settings.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet agency driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based interventions.
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop person-centered treatment plans.
• Deliver therapy in office and community-based settings as appropriate.
• Collaborate with ACT team and other supports to coordinate comprehensive behavioral health services.
• Provide crisis intervention and clinical support.
• Complete required documentation, referrals, and program reporting.
• Participate in ACT team meetings, supervision, trainings, and professional development.
