Job summary

Benton County Behavioral Health is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team. You will deliver recovery-oriented crisis and therapeutic case management for adults with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness and co-occurring substance use disorders.

This position focuses on intensive community-based services, including individual and group therapy, outreach, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or closely related field.
• QMHP certification with MHACBO or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Experience providing mental health services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health assessments and service planning tailored to client needs.
• Provide crisis intervention and case management for individuals with SPMI and co-occurring disorders.
• Engage clients in community outreach in homes, shelters, and other settings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated services.
• Apply evidence-based therapeutic techniques and trauma-informed care.
• Demonstrate cultural competence to serve diverse populations.
