Job summary

Pathways to Life, Inc. in Greenville, NC, is expanding its ACT team and adding psychiatric care provider hours to meet a growing census.

This role works closely with the team psychiatrist, sharing clinical responsibility and attending daily team meetings, seeing members where they live rather than in an office. Important: NC Medicaid policy requires in-person service delivery; telemedicine cannot meet the role’s duties.

Qualifications

• NC NP or PA licensure with 3+ years treating serious mental illness.
• Current DEA registration and NC driver’s license.
• Ability to pass background checks and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat psychiatric symptoms and monitor meds in community settings.
• Collaborate with ACT Team Leader on treatment monitoring.
• Oversee medical care with nurses and implement med policies.
• Educate team on psychiatric medications and health conditions.
• Provide diagnostic and med education using shared decision-making.
• Attend daily team meetings and treatment planning with scheduled hours.
• Provide brief formal or informal therapy.
• Share after-hours and weekend back-up coverage on a rotating basis.
