Job summary

MIMH Professional Training in Michigan seeks an Assertive Community Treatment Team Leader/Supervisor to provide clinical leadership to the ACT team, ensuring adherence to MDHHS, Medicaid, CARF and NCCMH standards and direct services to clients.

The role aims to reduce hospital utilization, improve psychosocial functioning, and achieve person-centered goals by coordinating services with the MI service system and community partners.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or a licensed human services discipline with licensure to supervise.
• Two or more years of experience with persons with serious mental illness.
• At least two years of supervisory experience.
• Possess a valid Michigan driver’s license and have a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the ACT program staff, activities, assignments, productivity, utilization of team resources, and quality and cost-effectiveness of services.
• Participates in team discussions, planning, and establishment of goals for person-centered plans including integrated treatment planning for consumers with co-occurring disorders.
• Coordinates and participates in on-call schedule and consultation during after hours programming.
• Coordinates services with other MI Programs and community providers.
• Coordinates psychiatric and medical services and consultation for ACT clients.
• Maintains positive relationships with community providers and manages program reports and data.
• Oversees day-to-day program management including office/supply management and vehicle maintenance.
• Manages emergency funds and petty cash; provides outreach and skill training to identified client population.
