Job summary

Kaplan delivers innovative interventions and prep programs to help students reach their potential. You will teach ACT students onsite in a classroom at a local high school in Homewood-Flossmoor, IL, with classes from October to March, about 2–3 times a week.

There are also opportunities to tutor college-bound students virtually during the year, with paid training both content areas and modalities. As an ACT Teacher you’ll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, prepare students

Qualifications

• Scores within the 90th percentile of the ACT.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work independently with a remote manager.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver exam prep and educational content.
• Prepare students using a curated curriculum to immerse them in ACT language.
• Support students in and out of class to foster critical thinking.
• Engage in ongoing training, coaching and development.
• Maintain a part-time teaching schedule and explore other interests.
• Connect with colleagues remotely while completing training from home.
