Job summary

State of South Carolina, Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, is seeking a Mental Health Professional I to join the ACT team at the Greater Greenville Mental Health Center. This role delivers evidence-based, community-based services to adults with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) in a non-residential setting.

Applicants must hold a master’s or doctoral degree in a psychology-related field and be licensed in SC (LISW-CP/LMFT/LPC).

Qualifications

Master's or doctoral degree in psychology-related field.
Licensed LISW-CP/LMFT/LPC in SC with 1 year of experience with adults with SMI.
CPR and MAPS certification required after hire.
Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide direct services to ACT patients guiding skill development and independent living.
Assist patients with access to community services and support networks.
Complete screenings and assessments for referrals and ICP development/revisions.
Provide family psychoeducation and work with natural supports.
Lead the person-centered planning process for ACT patients.
Participate in supervision, treatment team meetings, and professional development; ensure EBPs and certifications.
Complete documentation per QA/BHDD-OMH standards and timely prior authorizations.
Complete required trainings including Safety, MAPS, Cultural Affairs, and clinical trainings.
