Job summary

Indian Rivers Behavioral Health is seeking a Coordinator for the ACT Team in Tuscaloosa, AL. This full-time role manages coordination of medical and psychiatric care, oversees documentation and staff activities, and collaborates with community agencies to support consumers’ recovery.

The position requires a Master’s degree in behavioral health (licensure preferred) and at least two years of related mental health experience, with supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavioral health (licensure preferred).
• Two years of experience in mental health related field required.
• Two years supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor documentation for ACT program admissions, plans, notes, assessments and medication administration.
• Supervise staff and coordinate medical and psychiatric concerns.
• Collaborate with community agencies and internal departments to move consumers toward independence.
• Transport consumers in a company vehicle or reimbursed personal vehicle for work tasks.
