This position is contingent on the award of a federal contract.

IMSolutions seeks an Acquisition Specialist II to fill an exciting opportunity supporting the federal government.

This position is 100% remote – telework in the U.S.

As an Acquisition Specialist II, you will have mastered Federal and Departmental procurement regulations and have expert knowledge of Federal contracting law, regulations, policies and precedents, and related principles, policies, and procedures sufficient to plan, lead, review, or audit the most complex procurement functions.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Skilled in promoting e-commerce and supporting automated acquisition systems, contractor performance evaluation systems, electronic invoicing systems, and other electronic systems facilitating the agency's move to paperless contracting.
  2. Knowledgeable experience in pre-award and post-award administration of federal contracting.
  3. Proficient knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
  4. Ability to plan and organize work independently.
  5. Provide input on operational improvements, program policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  6. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, understand complex issues, maintain good working relations, and meet basic professional performance standards.
  7. Must have the ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Required Job Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or at least 24 credit hours in business or a business-related field.
  2. Six (6) years of operational experience in Federal Contracting.
  3. Required minimum certification: Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) (Professional).
  4. Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  1. Master’s Degree in business or a business-related field.
  2. Knowledge of ESC PRISM.
  3. Certified Federal Contracts Manager certification through NCMA.

Base compensation range and benefits:

$80,000 to $100,000 - Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and location.
