Job summary

Credence is seeking a Senior Program Engineer-Systems Security to join our team supporting the Air Force at Eglin AFB, Florida. You will help lock down classified tech, shape cybersecurity defenses, and keep mission‑critical programs safe from threats through systems security engineering, CPI protection, and DoDI guidelines.

This onsite role requires a TS/SCI clearance, ABET‑accredited degree with 20 years of experience (or master’s with 15), and hands‑on work with DoD acquisition lifecycles,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a related discipline from ABET-accredited college/university with extensive experience.
• TS/SCI eligibility is required for consideration.
• Experience with armament systems and DoD lifecycle processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Secure and protect CPI and critical program information across DoD systems.
• Develop AT specifications and procedures to prevent exploitation of critical tech.
• Support and maintain Program Protection Plan sections and audits.
• Coordinate with DoD and external stakeholders to enable compliant testing and fielding.
• Apply IA engineering to weapon systems per DoDI directives.
• Implement SCRM and lifecycle risk management early in system design.
