JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Procurement Assistance Support Services (PASS) (Acquisition Support Specialist III (Key Personnel)) in the Government And Public Services Industry Sector focussing on Management And Operations Solutions for clients such as State of North Carolina (NCDPC) | North Carolina Department of Administration – Division of Purchase & Contract (P&C) Generally Located In OCONUS - Goldsboro, NC 27530 and across the CONUS - Southeastern United States (USA) Region.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

The ProSidian Procurement Assistance and IT Research, Advisory, and Consulting Acquisition Support Specialist III (Key Personnel) Performs advanced acquisition planning, contract management, and procurement documentation in support of complex acquisition life cycles.

Desired Qualifications For Acquisition Support Specialist III (Key Personnel)

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a related field.
  • Eight (8) or more years of providing a broad range of complex acquisition management support services.
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret each State’s acquisition policy, regulations, and directives and apply those interpretations fully and legally to all activities described in the Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Able to analyze cost and pricing data, assistance in proposal evaluations, and assistance in preparing contract negotiations.

Skills Required

  • Certification from a nationally recognized organization such as NCMA, UPPCC or DAU.
  • Master’s Degree or higher in Business Administration, Business Law, or Public Administration.

Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe). Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Business Tools – understanding and proficiency with business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate is advanced with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word, and proficient with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio with the ability to quickly learn other tools as necessary.
