Overview

BAI, a defense contractor, is seeking an Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst, Senior professional with 10+ years for a Department of Defense (DoD) program in Patuxent River, MD. Responsibilities

    Supports and drafts program milestone related documentation to ensure compliance with all aspects of the DoD and SECNAV 5000 series directives
  • Assists with program digital reporting tools such as DAVE, Qlik Sense Enterprise, RDA Information System (RDAIS), and the Procurement Management Tool (PMT)
  • Supports the development of program acquisition documentation such as Acquisition Plans (AP), Acquisition Strategies (AS), Acquisition Program Baselines (APBs), Procurement Initiation Document (PID), Statement of Work (SOW), funding documents, and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs)
  • Assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements. Attends, participates, supports, analyzes, provides input, develops, prepares, and reports on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards

Functional Description:

  • Supports and drafts program milestone related documentation to ensure compliance with all aspects of the DoD and SECNAV 5000 series directives
  • Assists with program digital reporting tools such as DAVE, Qlik Sense Enterprise, RDA Information System (RDAIS), and the Procurement Management Tool (PMT)
  • Supports the development of program acquisition documentation such as Acquisition Plans (AP), Acquisition Strategies (AS), Acquisition Program Baselines (APBs), Procurement Initiation Document (PID), Statement of Work (SOW), funding documents, and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
  • Assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements
  • Attends, participates, supports, analyzes, provides input, develops, prepares, and reports on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards

Desired Experience:

  • At least five (5) years of experience in the NAVAIR program management, technical, and business analysis discipline, related to acquisition and life cycle management


Qualifications

  • Required Education: Senior - MA/MS degree
  • Required Experience: Senior - over 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description
  • Security Clearance: Must have and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance; must be found eligible for Top Secret clearance
  • US Citizenship: Required at time of application
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016, Microsoft Project 2016, Adobe Acrobat XI
  • Capability for Internet and Local Area Network (LAN) communications with PMA-234
  • Ability to support meetings and travel (CONUS and OCONUS) as required
  • Ability to work in Government facilities and support classified meetings up to TOP SECRET level
  • Experience with program digital reporting tools (DAVE, Qlik Sense Enterprise, RDAIS, PMT)
  • Knowledge of DoD and SECNAV 5000 series acquisition directives

EDUCATION

MA/MS degree in engineering, business administration, acquisition management, systems engineering, or related technical discipline supporting program management functions

ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION:

For Master's Degree:

Bachelor's Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree.

OR

Associate's Degree plus four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree.

OR

Six (6) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master's Degree.

CLEARANCE

Condition of employment - The applicant must have and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance; be found eligible for TS. All applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

CITIZENSHIP

The applicant must have US citizenship at the time of application.
