Job summary

Arcfield is seeking professionals to contribute to the GEOINT Ground Architecture and full acquisition life cycle support, from requirements through contract close-out. The role emphasizes working with government procurement and integrated teams to deliver capabilities within defense programs.

The candidate should have active TS/SCI with polygraph, experience in DoD/IC environments, and a track record of independent contribution across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Assist government procurement to develop acquisition strategies, work statements, evaluation plans and vendor qualifications
  • Support the full acquisition life cycle from pre-award planning to contract close-out
  • Apply defense acquisition knowledge to improve policy and measure implementation effectiveness
  • Use quantitative analysis to assess acquisition issues and develop mitigation approaches
  • Support development of acquisition plans, IGCE, evaluation criteria, and RFPs/RFQs/RFBs
  • Generate pre-award technical documentation including solicitation, IGCE, TEP and TE Report

Duties

Come join our team as an Acquisition Specialist Systems Engineering Technical Assistant (SETA) contractor on the Geralt MERIGOLD Program. In this position as an Acquisition Specialist III, duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist government procurement agencies to develop acquisition strategies, work statements, evaluation plans and qualify vendors.
  • Support the entire acquisition life cycle, from pre-award planning through solicitation preparation, contract award, contract administration and contract close-out.
  • Apply knowledge of the defense acquisition process in the analysis and improvement of acquisition process policy and procedures to devise strategies for deploying and implementing new acquisition policy initiatives and measuring the effectiveness of implementation.
  • Use quantitative analytical techniques to assess system acquisition process issues and develop risk reduction/mitigation approaches for improving acquisition/program planning, control, and execution.
  • Support the development of acquisition plans, source selection documents (including evaluation criteria), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE), justifications and approvals, synopses, and requests for proposals/quotes/bids.
  • Generate pre-award technical documentation (solicitation, IGCE, Technical Evaluation Plan (TEP) and Technical Evaluation Report).
Qualifications
Required:
  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2
  • Intelligence Community experience and work history
  • Minimum of five years supporting DoD/IC programs
  • Demonstrated performance as an individual contributor working across integrated customer/contractor project and functional teams to deliver capabilities
Desired
  • A degree in a technical field
  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification in Program Management
  • PMP Certification

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, Arcfield invests in its employees beyond just compensation. Min: $86,380.08 Max: $150,198.20
