Job summary

The Mtsi Va program office at Wright Field seeks a senior program manager to interpret, organize, and coordinate DoD software and system development initiatives. You will maintain the integrated master schedule and advise on acquisition and risk reduction strategies.

Requires TS clearance with SCI eligibility and 10+ years of DoD experience, plus a MA/MS/ME in a relevant field. This role involves high-level coordination across government and contractor teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Advise project leads and project engineers on acquisition management and software development matters.

• Provide oversight of information assurance tasks for classified networks and report status to the Program Manager.
• Support the Program Director at executive levels during reviews, inspections, conferences, and milestone events.

Job description

Interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate program management assignments and activities. Program/project integration with in-depth knowledge in Technology Maturation & Risk Reduction (TMRR) and Engineering & Manufacturing Development (EMD) . Develop and maintain the program's integrated master schedule. Apply program management and systems engineering expertise to projects and program challenges. Advise project leads and project engineers on all matters of acquisition management and Software Development in a Digital Infrastructure construct. Advise program leadership on strategic planning regarding capability development and demonstration on the program. Provide oversight of program information assurance tasks associated with classified networks and report status directly to the Program Manager. Support the Program Director from time to time at executive levels within the government and other contractor organizations, including major program reviews, inspections, conferences, and other program evaluations and major milestone events.

Manage interactions and cultivate relationships between the program office, supporting government offices, other contractors, and higher headquarters mid to upper-level staff.

Possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant Department of Defense (DoD) work experience Have no less than three (3) years' experience in a Special Access Program (SAP) and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) environment within the last five (5) years Possess a Master of Arts/Master of Science/Master of Engineering MA/MS/ME degree. Experience and degree requirements must be in a field relevant to the functional area.
