Job summary

Air Force Civilian Service in Los Angeles seeks an Acquisition Program Manager to lead GPS modernization and related defense programs within AFMC/AFLCMC. You will oversee the program lifecycle, including cost, schedule, and performance, and coordinate with contractors and government personnel to deliver critical national security capabilities.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
• Designation as a Drug Testing Position.
• DAWIA requirements must be met or pursued; BtB Practitioner certification in Program Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of national security acquisition programs focused on GPS modernization and advanced tech.
• Manage the full program lifecycle (cost, schedule, performance) for complex DoD initiatives including hardware/software and anti-tamper crypto technologies.
• Lead and coordinate large, cross-functional teams and manage complex DoD contracts with contractors and government personnel.
• Report program status to senior leadership and mentor both military and civilian staff.
