Job summary

Cherokee Nation Defense Solutions (CNDS), part of Cherokee Federal, seeks an Acquisition Program Management Support Specialist to enable full lifecycle support for counternarcotics and DSCA programs. The role covers pre- and post-award documentation, contractor performance analysis, and cross-functional coordination with USG stakeholders.

Candidates should have extensive DoD acquisition experience, CAPM certification, and strong MS Office/SharePoint skills.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 8 years of DoD acquisition experience with 2 years in program management.
• CAPM certification or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of the federal acquisition lifecycle and contract management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and government acquisition platforms (SharePoint, SMT).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Responsibilities

• Support development of pre- and post-award acquisition documentation.
• Analyze contractor performance for timeliness and cost effectiveness.
• Draft requirements documents (PWS, SOW, SOO) and related artifacts.
• Facilitate PMR preparation, risk analysis, and pricing/availability reviews.
• Maintain contract documentation and update records within 2 business days.
• Coordinate meetings with USG customers and CCMDs.
