Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics or related field.
• Strong Excel skills with intermediate proficiency.
• Understanding of financial statements (Income Statement and Balance Sheet).

Responsibilities

• Learn accounting standards for municipalities and utilities’ financial reporting practices.
• Collaborate with Corporate Development on financial analyses for potential acquisitions.
• Perform financial analyses in Excel; research municipal financials; create PowerPoint presentations; develop internal templates for corporate development processes.
• Collaborate with Valuations and Due Diligence to gain exposure to acquisition evaluations.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing acquisition models and developing training materials.
