Job summary

DCS Corp is seeking an Acquisition specialist to support a new program in preparation for two Acquisition Shaping panels in FY25. The role involves planning, documenting, and coordinating complex DoD procurements with a focus on cost, schedule, and performance.

A TS/SCI clearance and Army ACAT experience are required, with travel up to 25%. The position emphasizes developing acquisition strategies and briefings for diverse audiences, ensuring regulatory compliance and effective communication

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations to the Product Management team concerning acquisition planning including cost, schedule, and performance for high-value, long-term acquisitions.
• Apply procurement principles to ensure acquisition and milestone documentation are reflected in contracting actions.
• Develop acquisition strategies aligned with program goals and regulatory requirements.
• Develop acquisition documents such as the Simplified Acquisition Management Plan, Life Cycle Sustainment Plan, and related memorandums and plans.
• Coordinate program ramp-up as new capabilities are transitioned and developed for smooth integration and readiness.
• Prepare and brief status updates for internal and external stakeholders, communicating challenges and successes, tailored to different audiences.

DCS is looking for an Acquisition specialist to support a new program in preparation for two Acquisition Shaping panels in FY25.

Essential Job Functions:

Provide recommendations to the Product Management team concerning the acquisition planning to include cost, schedule, and performance of highly complex, high monetary value, long term acquisitions.

Apply procurement principles and technical or program requirements to ensure the acquisition and milestone documentation are reflected and are integrated into the resulting contracting and procurement actions.

Assist in the development of acquisition strategies that align with program goals and regulatory requirements.

Assist in the development of acquisition documents such as the Simplified Acquisition Management Plan, Life Cycle Sustainment Plan, Program Office Estimate, Acquisition Decision memorandums, Test and evaluation plans, etc.

Coordinate and assist in the ramp-up of the program as new capabilities are transitioned and developed, ensuring smooth integration and operational readiness.

Support the preparation and development of briefings and presentations for internal and external stakeholders that effectively communicate the status, challenges, and successes of the program.

Develop and brief clear, concise, and tailored briefings for various audiences.

Travel Requirement: up to 25%.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelors and 8 years of experience.

TS/SCI clearance is required.

Must have experience supporting an Army ACAT level program.

Pay Range and Benefits: There are a variety of factors that can influence salary at DCS Corp, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

Salary Range: $96,757 - $150,000
