Job summary

Bienvivir All-Inclusive Senior Health is a community-based, patient-centered health care system serving frail seniors in Texas. The Outreach Coordinator advocates for Bienvivir and educates the public about PACE services to generate referrals, supporting marketing activities and events.

Under the Marketing Manager, you will manage outreach activities, community forums, and health fairs, respond to information requests, and track referrals in our CRM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; two years of college level work in journalism, public relations, marketing preferred.
• Minimum two years’ experience in community public relations.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License; driving record check will be conducted.
• Bilingual; English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and maintains relationships with community organizations, agencies, hospitals, government agencies, churches, schools, etc. as part of Bienvivir awareness activities.
• Implements elements of the Marketing Plan that delineate outreach activities to support the Organization’s Strategic Plan.
• Develops and maintains active referral sources in coordination with the Marketing Manager.
• Coordinates logistics and participation at health fairs, community outreach activities, and promotional campaigns.
• Screens inquiries to ensure referrals meet minimum PACE/Bienvivir qualification criteria.
• Distributes marketing and promotional materials and communicates stock needs to Marketing Manager.
• Manages referrals and referral contacts ensuring timely, professional responses.
• Operates company vehicles safely when assigned and maintains vehicle logs.
• Contributes material for Bienvivir website/newsletter as approved.
• Conducts tours of Bienvivir facilities as requested and per tour schedule.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Bienvivir All-Inclusive Senior Health (“Bienvivir”) is a community-based, patient-centered, comprehensive health care delivery system that advocates and promotes quality of life, optimum independence, dignity, and choices in a nurturing environment for frail seniors. Since 1987, Bienvivir has served the frail seniors of El Paso, Texas through the provision of the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (“PACE”).

PACE is a unique managed care benefit for frail seniors (referred to as participants) age 55 and older who are certified by the state as needing nursing home level care and who reside in a PACE service area. PACE programs coordinate and provide comprehensive medical and support services so that participants can remain independent and stay in their homes for as long as safely possible.

Bienvivir is currently accepting applications for the following position:

OUTREACH COORDINATOR

Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, the Outreach Coordinator will serve to advocate and educate the community about Bienvivir and services provided via the PACE model in an effort to generate referrals. The Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for coordination of all formal outreach activities for the organization to include community forums, health, and educational fairs and all other outreach activities deemed relevant to promote Bienvivir. The Outreach Coordinator will support marketing activities and events and assist the Marketing Manager with administrative support and event coordination. The Outreach Coordinator will respond to formal and informal information requests for PACE education to facilitate referrals. The Outreach Coordinator will enter, track, and manage referrals within the marketing Customer Referral Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Initiates and maintains effective relationships with community organizations, agencies, hospitals, government agencies, churches, schools, etc. as part of Bienvivir awareness activities.
2. As directed by the Marketing Manager, the Outreach Coordinator will implement elements of the Marketing Plan that delineate outreach activities (formal and informal, internal and external) in support of the Organization’s Strategic Plan.
3. Will work with the Marketing Manager to develop and maintain active referral sources.
4. . As directed by the Marketing Manager, the Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for coordination, logistics, and participation/representation at all health fairs, community outreach activities, and promotional campaigns.
5. Appropriately screens inquiries to ensure referrals meet minimum PACE/Bienvivir qualification criteria.
6. Responsible for the distribution of all marketing and promotional materials. Will communicate to Marketing Manager when supplies require re-ordering to ensure adequate stock is available at all times.
7. Manage referrals and referral contacts ensuring inquiries are promptly responded to with optimal customer service and professionalism.
8. When assigned, operate company vehicles in a safe manner. Check out and maintain vehicle log per established protocol. Report any vehicle maintenance issues to supervisor.
9. May contribute material, as approved by the Marketing Manager, for possible inclusion in the Organization’s website and/or newsletter.
10. Conduct tours of Bienvivir facilities as requested and as per tour schedule.
11. Will carry out other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

1. High School Diploma; prefer two (2) years of college level work in journalism, public relations, marketing/advertising.
2. Minimum two (2) years’ experience in community public relations.
3. Valid Texas Driver’s License; Motor Vehicle Driving record check will be conducted.
4. Bilingual; (English/Spanish).
