COLSA Corporation in the United States is seeking a Senior Logistics Manager to help plan, develop, and manage a comprehensive, affordable systems support strategy for the KC-46 program. You will assist the PM/PSM and sustainment teams with data analysis, procurement, and maintenance planning.

The role requires advanced DoD experience, strong MS Office and Adobe Acrobat skills, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

  • MA/MS degree with 12+ years in the discipline (5+ in DoD)
  • BA/BS degree with 15+ years in the discipline (5+ in DoD)
  • HS Diploma with 20+ years in the discipline (8+ in DoD)
  • Advanced knowledge to oversee junior personnel in their field
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat

Responsibilities

  • Support PM and PSM as the Total Life Cycle Systems Manager and assist sustainment teams with data analysis and procurement
  • Develop and maintain PPSP, PPTP, and TPP transition plans and execute phased PPTP/TPP strategies
  • Coordinate all logistics elements including spares, SE, training, facilities, data, and provisioning
  • Assist in maintenance support analyses, reports, and recommendations for maintenance strategies
  • Support in reliability-centered maintenance, level of repair analyses, and SORAP processes
  • Produce or review program office documents supporting acquisition and sustainment logistics
  • Support MIL SOL analysis through milestones: MILSA, Technology Maturation, EMD, Production, Deployment, Ops and Support

Job description

Perform various tasks in the KC-46 program office related to the planning, development, implementation and management of a comprehensive, affordable and effective systems support strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide product assistance to the PM and Product Support Manager (PSM) for the execution of the PSM’s duties as the Total Life Cycle Systems Manager; also provide assistance to the sustainment teams through data analysis, acquisition management, procurement, and other associated logistics data of critical assets, insurance spares, tooling, and related parts and material.
  • Provide assistance to the development and maintenance of Post Production Support Plans (PPSP), Post Production Transition Plans (PPTP), and Transition to Post Production (TPP) and shall develop and execute requirements in phased strategies for PPTP and TPP.
  • Coordinate all logistics elements including but not limited to spares, Support Equipment (SE), training, facilities, technical data, and provisioning to ensure all integrated logistics support requirements for the program are identified and tailored to the directorate's needs. Assigned personnel shall perform as key participants in developing long term weapon system supportability approaches that further the Government’s acquisition strategy goals and objectives.
  • Assist in accomplishing analyses, writing reports, recommending actions, or performing any related tasks that provide logisticians the capability to conduct the orderly arrangement of all maintenance support, including SE, to keep systems and equipment ready to perform assigned missions. This includes all levels of maintenance and implementation of those levels using partnering, organic, and Contractor support.
  • Provide support in the following areas: performing reliability centered maintenance program analyses, level of repair analyses, aircraft battle damage repair, and othermaintenance trade studies; recommending required maintenance capability for all levels of repair to include calibration concepts, requirements, and plans; tracking and monitoring weapon system modifications; assisting with the Source of Repair Assignment Process (SORAP) and assisting in inter-service screening; aiding in the identification of requirements for interim contractor support, contractor logistics support, and post production support; developing maintenance activation planning and processes; ensuring provisions are made for survivability, corrosion control, nondestructive inspection, structural integrity, built-in test and performance monitoring, and hazardous materials in addressing environmental logistics impacts; and identifying, quantifying, and assessing the ILS/product support and sustainment elements.
  • Assist in producing or reviewing documents for program office use that support the breadth of acquisition and sustainment logistics efforts.
  • Support the program office during Materiel Solution Analysis, Technology Maturation and Risk Reduction, EMD, Production and Deployment, and Operations and Support phases, to include all milestone activities.

Required Experience

One of the following combinations of education/experience:

  • MA/MS degree, and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five (5) years of which must be in the DoD -OR-
  • BA/BS degree, and fifteen (15) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) of which must be in the DoD -OR-
  • HS Diploma, and twenty (20) years of directly related experience, eight (8) of which must be in the DoD.
  • P ossesses the advanced knowledge, experience and recognized ability to be considered an expert in the technical/professional field, possess the ability to perform tasks and oversee the efforts of junior and journeyman personnel within the technical/professional discipline
  • Will demonstrate advanced knowledge of technical/professional discipline as well as possess a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures and practices in their area of expertise
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams) & Adobe Acrobat
  • U.S. Citizenship required; Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance required.
