Job summary

Tecolote in Arlington, VA is seeking an Acquisition Cost Estimator Level II with强 quantitative skills to lead cost analyses and lifecycle cost estimates for programs. You will perform parametric tradeoffs, life cycle cost estimates, and various cost assessments to support program decisions.

The role requires 4–7 years of experience in cost estimating, proficiency with spreadsheets and MS Office, and the ability to work autonomously or in a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in math, engineering, business, or sciences is required.
• 4–7 years of life cycle cost estimating experience and related analyses.
• Strong proficiency with cost tools, spreadsheets, and data presentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost-related analysis and assessments of products and services; perform parametric tradeoff studies and assess cost estimates.
• Develop Program Life Cycle Cost Estimates and conduct concepts and technology tradeoff studies.
• Perform BOE, CAIV, business case, multi-year procurement and POE analyses, should-cost and risk analyses.

Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent quantitative skills for an Acquisition Cost Estimator Level II analyst.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost-related analysis and assessments of products and services; perform parametric tradeoff studies and assesses cost estimates.
• Develop Program Life Cycle Cost Estimates (PLCCE) and perform concepts and technology tradeoff studies for programs and projects
• Perform various cost assessment activities, including BOE analysis, CAIV Analysis, Business Case Analysis, multi-year procurement and POE analysis, Should Cost Analysis, and Cost-Risk Analysis

Skills Required

• Between 4 - 7 years of experience in life cycle cost estimating and other cost estimating activities such as basis of estimate (BOE) analysis, CAIV analysis, cost performance trade off analysis, and Should Cost Analysis
• Proficiency with using modern computational tools and spreadsheets to conduct cost assessments
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, and have strong verbal and written communications skills
• Must be able to work autonomously as well as within a team/collaborative environment

Salary range : $80,000 - $110,000/Year depending on experience and qualifications

Education
