We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent quantitative skills for an Acquisition Cost Estimator Level 1 position.
Responsibilities
- Assist in providing cost-related analysis and assessments of products and services; perform parametric tradeoff studies and assesses cost estimates.
- Assist in developing Program Life Cycle Cost Estimates (PLCCE) and perform concepts and technology tradeoff studies for programs and projects
- Assist in various cost assessment activities, including BOE analysis, CAIV Analysis, Business Case Analysis, multi-year procurement and POE analysis, Should Cost Analysis, and Cost-Risk Analysis
Skills Required
- Between 1 - 4 years of experience in life cycle cost estimating and other cost estimating activities such as basis of estimate (BOE) analysis, CAIV analysis, cost performance trade off analysis, and Should Cost Analysis.
- Proficiency with using modern computational tools and spreadsheets to conduct cost assessments
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, and have strong verbal and written communications skills
- Must be able to work autonomously as well as within a team/collaborative environment
Salary range : $60,000 - $80,000/Year depending on experience and qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
