Job summary

Dynamo Technologies LLC is seeking an Acquisition Contracting Support Journeyman to analyze contract data in support of Life Cycle Management for weapon systems. You will assist price and cost evaluations, data analysis, and contract administration, with training support and documentation duties as required.

Position is onsite at Warner Robins AFB, GA, with duties aligned to DoD acquisition policies and procedures. Travel may be possible.

Dynamo Technologies LLC is seeking an Acquisition Contracting Support Journeyman to provide contracting and acquisition support through the analysis of contract data in support of Life Cycle Management (LCM) activities for weapon systems. The successful candidate will support price and cost evaluations, contract closeout activities, data collection and analysis, administrative operations, and training associated with contract activities. All duties will be performed in accordance with the Headquarters AFMC/PK memorandum titled “Outsourcing of Contracting,” dated March 1, 2022. This position requires experience with Defense Acquisition System processes and the ability to support contracting activities within established DoD acquisition policies, procedures, and program requirements.

Duties/ Responsibilities

• Provide price and cost evaluation support for acquisition and contracting activities.
• Analyze relevant pricing, cost, and contract data to support Government contracting activities.
• Provide analytical support only and not participate in contract negotiations.
• Support contract closeout activities and associated documentation requirements.
• Collect, compile, organize, and analyze contract and acquisition data.
• Provide clerical, administrative, and office operations support related to contracting activities.
• Administer and support training associated with contract activities.
• Support contracting activities associated with the Life Cycle Management of weapon systems.
• Perform assigned contracting support activities in accordance with the Headquarters AFMC/PK “Outsourcing of Contracting” memorandum.
• Support Defense Acquisition System processes, including Urgent Capability Acquisition (UCA), Middle Tier of Acquisition (MTA), Major Capability Acquisition (MCA), Software Acquisition, and Acquisition of Services.
• Apply established contracting procedures and processes while supporting program office and staff-level requirements.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Experience with Defense Acquisition System processes, including UCA, MTA, MCA, Software Acquisition, and Acquisition of Services.
• Experience supporting acquisition and contracting activities within a DoD environment.
• Ability to collect, compile, and analyze contract and acquisition data.
• Ability to support price and cost evaluation activities without participating in negotiations.
• Knowledge of contract closeout activities and associated documentation.
• Ability to provide administrative and office operations support for contracting activities.
• Ability to support and administer training associated with contract activities.
• Ability to work independently and apply appropriate contracting procedures and processes within established program and project guidelines.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to support multiple contracting and acquisition activities while maintaining accurate documentation and data.

Nice to Have Skills

• Acquisition Qualification.
• Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) and/or Contracting Professional certification from the National Contract Management Association.
• DAWIA Certified Defense Acquisition Contracting functional area certification.
• Completion of DAU courses CON 1100, CON 1200, CON 1300, and CON 1400, or equivalent.
• Experience supporting Life Cycle Management activities for DoD weapon systems.
• Experience with DoD contract closeout, price/cost evaluation, and contract data analysis.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD.
• OR, seven years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, five of which must be in the DoD.
