Job description

Acquisition Analyst (Mid)

Location: Reston, VA

Pay From: $48.00 per hour

MUST:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required with ability to obtain a lifestyle polygraph
  • Experienced Acquisition Analyst with 5+ years of recent experience within the last 2 years
  • Ability to structure analysis based on trends, reports, and various analytic perspectives
  • Strong communication skills to interpret complex and technically advanced information
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Collaborative skills for sharing information and resolving analytic disputes within the IC
  • Proven ability to develop concise and insightful products for program management and acquisition requirements
  • Leadership skills to guide teams in resolving critical issues and applying analytic methodologies

Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master's degree preferred

DUTIES:
  • Provide guidance on acquisition position identification, coding, documentation, and workforce planning in compliance with DAWIA standards
  • Participate in workforce identification, revalidation, and support socialization and marketing efforts
  • Assist with data retrieval and analysis for workforce planning and requirements
  • Advise technical experts and program offices on contractual matters based on regulation policies
  • Develop performance criteria and requirements for SOW/PWS and orders
  • Perform market research and analyze trends, conditions, and technological advances relevant to the program
  • Assist in developing source selection evaluation criteria
  • Coordinate with technical experts and contracting to ensure project milestones are reflected in contractual documents and plans
  • Assist in developing Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs)
