Job summary

A technology solutions provider is seeking an Acquia/Drupal Administrator for a remote position. The candidate will configure the agency's Acquia/Drupal solution, deliver web solutions, and ensure compliance with ADA accessibility standards. Minimum qualifications include three years’ experience with PHP and HTML coding, Acquia/Drupal management, and responsive design. The role requires collaboration with project members and stakeholders to create visually appealing web solutions. This is a contract position lasting 12 months.

  • Deliver web solutions including front-end UI and backend services.
  • Select and implement custom modules as necessary.
  • Maintain and enhance responsive websites meeting ADA guidelines.
  • Conduct code reviews and recommend changes.

Responsibilities
  • Configure the agency tenant Acquia/Drupal solution, including data, display, and information architecture.
  • Deliver web solutions, including front-end User Interface (UI) and backend services.
  • Select and implement custom modules, as necessary.
  • Work closely with project team members and stakeholders to ensure an effective, visually appealing and intuitive implementation.
  • Maintain and enhance a responsive website that meets Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility guidelines.
  • Analyze functional requirements and develop technical requirements.
  • Apply appropriate technology as a solution to the business problem.
  • Assist other team members in the creation of design documents and other related system documentation, and review and approve final technical design.
  • Assign development tasks to team members and assist as needed.
  • Provide CMS coding specifications and standards and validate code against those standards.
  • Conduct code reviews and recommend changes.
  • Conduct on-the-job training in PHP/CMS implementation for staff.
  • Provide solution evaluation for new features, patches or bug fixes.
  • Provide production maintenance and support, including troubleshooting.
  • Provide knowledge transfer to staff; and
  • Provide post-implementation maintenance and support.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Three years’ experience with coding and testing PHP.
  • Three years’ experience with coding and testing HTML.
  • Three years’ experience with configuring and managing an Acquia/Drupal CMS.
  • Three years’ experience with gathering, documenting, and managing functional requirements and developing technical requirements; and
  • Two years’ experience coding using responsive design.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Acquia Certified Developer – Drupal 9 or above.
  • Experience coding using HTML5, Bootstrap, and Twig.
  • Experience coding web pages that meet ADA accessibility guidelines.
  • Experience working with SQL.
Additional Information
  • Work a 40-hour workweek during regular OSC business hours, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, excluding New York State holidays. The Consultant may occasionally be required to work more than the regular 40-hour work week and/or outside regular business hours to support the completion of critical project objectives.
  • Work remotely during the term of this Agreement.
  • Report directly to the OSC project lead or their designee.
