The University of Texas at Austin's Applied Research Laboratories at Pickle Research Campus is seeking an Acoustics Signal Processing Analyst to advance Navy SONAR signal processing and data analysis efforts. Experience with signal processing, automation algorithm design, acoustics, system/software design, machine learning, and data processing.
Experience in an applied research environment and familiarity with MATLAB or Python.

Responsibilities

Process and analyze acoustic data for SONAR system development.
Develop novel signal processing and automation algorithms.
Test and evaluate algorithms using MATLAB, Python, or similar tools.
Prepare analysis presentations and technical reports.
Collaborate with team members on research efforts.
Perform other related functions as assigned.
