Job summary

OJ Insulation is seeking skilled Ceiling Installers to join our team. You will install, repair, and maintain ceilings in residential, commercial, and industrial settings, following safety rules and project specs.

You’ll measure, cut, mount panels or tiles, install insulation and soundproofing, comply with building codes, coordinate with electricians or plumbers, and provide excellent customer service while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Ceiling Installer or similar role.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, or specifications related to ceiling installations.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to the job.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair ceilings in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Measure and cut ceiling materials to the appropriate size and shape.
• Mount and secure ceiling panels, tiles, or other materials using appropriate tools.
• Install insulation, vapor barriers, and soundproofing materials as required.
• Repair or replace damaged or worn-out ceiling components.
• Ensure all installations comply with building codes, safety regulations, and manufacturer instructions.
• Collaborate with electricians or plumbers to ensure proper installation of ceiling fixtures or utilities.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to project deadlines and complete assignments in a timely manner.
• Provide excellent customer service and address client questions.
