Job summary

OJ Insulation, part of the IBP family, is hiring Ceiling Installers to install and repair ceilings across residential, commercial, and industrial sites in Fairfield, CA. You will measure, cut, and mount ceiling materials, install insulation, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.

The role requires experience with various ceiling types, ability to interpret blueprints, and proficiency with hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Ceiling Installer or similar role.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, or specifications related to ceiling installations.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools used in ceiling work.
• Must be able to climb ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts; work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Install suspended, acoustic, and decorative ceilings.
• Measure and cut ceiling materials to size.
• Mount and secure ceiling panels, tiles, or other materials.
• Install insulation, vapor barriers, and soundproofing as required.
• Repair or replace damaged ceiling components.
• Ensure work complies with codes, safety regulations, and manufacturer instructions.
• Collaborate with electricians or plumbers on ceiling fixtures.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and meet deadlines.
• Provide excellent customer service and address client questions.
