Job summary

Apple Inc. in Cupertino, CA, is hiring an Acoustic Engineer to own acoustic design and integration across iPhone product lines. You will collaborate across Transducer Design, Product Design, Electrical Engineering, Software, Tuning, Operations and Reliability, driving concept-to-production workflows with simulation, prototyping, tuning and validation.

The role emphasizes innovation in compact acoustics, with travel up to 10% internationally and a base pay range $150,400–$277,600 per year.

Qualifications

Passion for audio and fundamental knowledge of acoustic theory.
Ability to take on new challenges with ownership and drive tasks from start to finish independently.
Thrive in cross-functional collaboration, communicate acoustic requirements, assess trade-offs and risk.
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
BS/MS or equivalent work experience, preferably specializing in acoustics.
Willing to travel, up to 10% internationally.
