Job summary

PAM Health is seeking an Assistant Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) in Massachusetts to lead nursing services and ensure safe patient care. The role emphasizes staffing optimization, policy implementation, and collaboration with administration to drive high-quality outcomes.

The ACNO will leverage a strong nursing background with 5+ years clinical experience and 3+ years in management, while maintaining BLS and ACLS certification; additional credentials are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must possess RN licensure in good standing.
• Minimum of five years of clinical nursing experience and three years in nursing management is preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS required.
• Certification in a specified field (CNE, CRRN, CCRN, PCCN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of the nursing unit(s)/hospitals.
• Direct all nursing service activities for the hospital assigned; optimize staff/patient ratios and liaise between staff and administration.
