Job summary

Homestead of Kingfisher in Oklahoma is seeking Advanced Certified Medical Aides (ACMA), Certified Medication Aides (CMA), or Medication Aide Technicians (MAT) to join our compassionate care team and support residents' daily needs.

You will provide high-quality patient care, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and collaborate with the nursing staff to ensure safe, respectful, and person-centered senior living.

Qualifications

• Currently certified as ACMA/CMA/MAT.
• Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents with care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist with resident care, including vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
• Provide general nursing support, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with mobility and transfer of residents, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team.
• Participate in resident care planning and goal setting.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and families.
