The Role

The Store Manager plays a crucial role in the daily operations of retail partner stores. Responsible for managing all activities within an assigned store, the Store Manager aims to maximize revenue and profits through efficient management, including staff training and development. The role involves meeting sales goals and improving processes to increase store sales, performed at one of our retail partner store locations.

Compensation

The position offers a salary in accordance with Acima's payroll procedures, ranging from $42,000 to $46,000 annually. Bonuses and incentives may be available, contingent upon employment status and plan requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Management and Leadership
  • Manage daily store operations and staff
  • Motivate, evaluate, coach, and discipline staff as needed
  • Identify and recommend staff for promotion
  • Partner with store personnel to generate referrals and educate on rental and lease processes
  • Train and assess staff on customer service excellence
  • Address employee and customer issues promptly
  • Create a positive work environment to retain staff
  • Recruit and hire store staff
Sales
  • Set and monitor sales objectives
  • Supervise sales activities and staff
  • Oversee lease agreement conversions and sales outcomes
  • Manage challenging accounts and customer commitments
  • Promote leasing services and educate customers
  • Oversee sales and account management operations
Job Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proven success in retail sales management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software
  • Knowledge of inventory and merchandising principles
  • Familiarity with leasing industry practices is a plus
  • Organized with good time management
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Regular in-person attendance

Work Hours & Physical Demands
