The Role

The Assistant Manager-PT reports to the Store Manager and assists with account management and sales activities while providing excellent customer service. The role involves collaborating with Acima retail partners to process credit applications and web orders, converting them into credit customers. The Assistant Store Manager reviews lease applications, promotes leasing benefits, and drives conversions. This position is based in one of our retail partner store locations.

Compensation

The position is paid hourly, with a range of $14.45-$16.49/hr, in accordance with Acima's payroll procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales/Account Management: Drive customer growth through web, partner stores, and walk-ins; identify and fulfill customer needs; educate customers on lease terms and application processes; close sales; collaborate with partner stores; communicate with Store Manager.
  • Customer Service: Build partnerships with retail staff; address and resolve customer issues; promote a positive work environment.
Job Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software
  • Familiarity with rental/leasing industry is a plus
  • Organized with good time-management skills
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Consistent in-person attendance

Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time role with variable hours, including evenings and weekends, across Monday to Sunday.

Physical Demands

The role requires talking, listening, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing as needed throughout the day.
