The Role

The Assistant Manager reports to the Store Manager and assists in account management and sales activities while providing excellent customer service. The role involves collaborating with Acima retail partners to process credit applications and web orders, converting them into credit customers. Responsibilities include reviewing lease applications, promoting leasing benefits, and driving conversions. This position is based in one of our retail partner store locations.

Compensation

The position is paid hourly, with potential bonuses or incentives based on performance, paid monthly. To qualify for bonuses, the employee must be actively employed and meet plan requirements.

$15.17 - $17.31/hr + Potential Bonus

Key Responsibilities
Sales/Account Management
  • Driving customer growth through web, partner stores, and walk-ins
  • Identifying and fulfilling customer needs promptly
  • Educating customers on Lease-To-Own terms, benefits, and application process
  • Closing sales by converting applications, including in-store and web orders
  • Collaborating with partner stores on operations
  • Reporting to the Store Manager on activities and performance
Customer Service
  • Establishing partnerships with retail personnel to generate referrals and educate customers
  • Addressing and resolving customer issues promptly
  • Fostering a positive work environment to retain coworkers
Job Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software
  • Familiarity with rental/leasing industry is a plus
  • Organized with good time-management skills
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays
  • Consistent in-person attendance

Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time role, with hours including evenings and weekends, varying by schedule.

Physical Demands

This role requires talking, listening, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day.
