Job summary

Vincere is seeking ACI/ATTI Civil, Geotechnical and Environmental Field Technicians in the Phoenix, AZ area to support construction and mining sites statewide.

As a Field Technician you will perform observation, documentation and sampling and testing of materials including aggregates, soils, concrete and asphalt. Occasional overtime is available with premium rates; some assignments may include per diem for lodging and meals.

Qualifications

• AAS or BS degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Environmental Engineering.
• Field experience or coursework in field observation and documentation.
• Experience or ability to perform field sampling and testing of mining/construction materials.
• Certifications in ACI and ATTI; ICCs and MSHA a plus.
• Clean MVR/Driving record and willingness to work overtime (overtime paid).

Responsibilities

• Observe and document material conditions on site.
• Collect field samples of aggregates, soils, concrete, asphalt, etc.
• Test materials and record results for projects.
• Be prepared for overtime as needed on site.

Job description

We have a customer in Phoenix, AZ who has IMMEDIATE long-term, TEMP to HIRE staffing needs for ACI and ATTI Civil, Geotechnical and Environmental Field Technicians to work on Construction and mining sites throughout Arizona.

In these roles you will work as a Field Technician performing observation, documentation and sampling and testing of a variety of mining and construction project materials including aggregate, concrete, asphalt, reinforced concrete, masonry and others. These roles also offer opportunities for candidates opportunities to work 10-20 hours of overtime/week including overtime rates.

These positions are long-term TEMP-HIRE positions throughout the greater Phoenix area and Arizona with out-of-town positions offering daily per diem for food and lodging.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• AAS or BS Degree in Civil, Geotechnical or Environmental Engineering or similar
• Previous experience working in the field -- in school/classes or on the job
• Previous experience or ability to do field observation, note taking/documentation, field sample collection and testing for mining and construction materials (aggregates, soils, concrete, asphalt, etc)
• Must have Certifications in ACI, ATTI, with ICCs and MSHA a plus
• Candidates must have Clean MVR/Driving record, good work ethic and like working in the field and be willing to work overtime (compensated) as needed
