Job summary

The UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Heart Institute is seeking an exceptional physician leader to serve as Director of the Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) Program. This role leads a growing, accredited ACHD program spanning adolescence to adulthood with cross-site collaboration and a strong research component.

The director will collaborate with Heart Institute leadership and adult cardiovascular partners to advance care, education, and scholarly activity, while expanding regional

Qualifications

Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.
Board-certified or board-eligible in Adult Congenital Heart Disease.
Demonstrated clinical expertise in adults with CHD.
Leadership/academic credentials appropriate for Appoint. at Assistant/Associate/Professor level.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic growth of the ACHD program.
Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for adults with CHD.
Collaborate with pediatric and adult specialists to integrate lifelong care.
Maintain ACHD accreditation and drive quality and safety initiatives.
Expand regional outreach and mentor trainees and clinicians.
