Minimum Qualifications

Major Responsibilities
  • Perform daily sanitation of PT/OT gym areas and equipment
  • Notify personnel of equipment malfunctions
  • Maintain clinic tidiness and supplies
  • Disinfect equipment and maintain disinfection supplies
  • Set up and clean therapy rooms for procedures
  • Assist with clerical responsibilities including patient files, copying, mailing, and inventory management
  • Deliver basic modality treatments under supervision
  • Prepare patients for treatment and assist with dressing
  • Transport patients and perform routine errands
  • Assist with gait training, exercises, and patient transfers under supervision
  • Communicate patient needs and observe for issues
  • Follow isolation procedures as instructed
  • Participate in ongoing training and team meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 100 pounds occasionally)
  • Assist with patient transfers and respond to patient needs
  • Exposure to hazardous materials and blood-borne pathogens
  • Work may involve unpredictable situations
