Job summary

Fort Worth ISD seeks an ACE Teacher for the Middle School Pool to deliver rigorous, standards-based instruction across campuses such as William James, Wedgwood, and Morningside Middle Schools. The ACE program places high-performing teachers in campuses ready for rapid transformation, extending learning time and providing intensive support to accelerate student success.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree, a Texas teaching certificate, and at least two years of certified teaching

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.
Two years of certified teaching experience required.
Valid Texas Teacher Certificate appropriate for grade level and/or subject area required.
Bilingual fluency beneficial in some settings.
Effective communication skills (written and oral) across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

Employ rigorous instructional strategies to foster collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking.
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and styles.
Assess student mastery using formative assessments, performance tasks, standardized tests, and observations.
Establish and maintain effective classroom management and discipline strategies.
Participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, and community engagement.
