Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. in Miami is seeking a Production Worker to operate in the outside production area of the Cylinder Exchange facility, handling 30 lb barbeque grill cylinders.

You will sort, inspect, clean, label, and refill cylinders, maintain safety PPE, and assist with shipments. The role requires standing 8–12 hours and lifting up to 50 pounds daily. A HS Diploma or GED is preferred, with 1–2 years in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years work experience in manufacturing is preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Ability to follow processes, procedures and instructions.
• Ability to function effectively as a member of a production team.
• Willingness to grow and learn and basic mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Sort, inspect, clean, paint, label, and refill empty cylinders.
• Maintain a safety focus at all times and wear the proper PPE.
• Ensure the consistent quality of cylinders are being processed.
• Load filled cylinders onto the truck(s) for the next day’s shipments.
• Stand and walk 8–12 hours per day; lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.

Pay

$17.70/hr

The pay for this position ranges from $17.70 to $17.70, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include eligibility to earn a performance‑based bonus or commissions on completed sales depending on the position.
