Position Description

Professor Jodi Quas and the ACEs Lab at UC Irvine are accepting applications for an assistant specialist to assist with the “My life and My Experiences Project,” an NICHD-funded study on stress, rumination, and memory in adolescents. Responsibilities include working with adolescent populations, managing undergraduate teams, coordinating with schools and community organizations, and handling IRB and subject payment documentation. Preferred experience includes administering cognitive measures to youth.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• BA or equivalent in psychology or related field, plus at least one year post-graduate education
• Experience working with child and adolescent populations, including vulnerable backgrounds
• Experience managing undergraduate teams
• Competency with Qualtrics or similar survey software

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with community organizations, schools, and agencies serving vulnerable youth
• Experience administering cognitive tests to youth
• Experience with IRBs and subject payments
