Job summary

Active Theory is seeking an Associate Creative Director to move from senior practitioner into holistic creative leadership. You will stay hands-on while guiding creative direction, high-stakes client stewardship, and team mentorship across our global accounts.

You will champion the studio’s vision, collaborate with Production and Tech, lead pitches, and help scale creative standards. This role requires strategic thinking, strong taste, and a commitment to building the studio’s public leadership

Qualifications

• Transition from senior practitioner to holistic creative leadership with ownership of client accounts.
• Proven ability to lead creative direction and maintain quality across projects.
• Strong ability to mentor designers and represent the studio externally.

Responsibilities

• Own creative direction across core client accounts, ensuring coherence and quality.
• Lead pitches and new business opportunities, articulating Active Theory's perspective.
• Collaborate with Production and Tech to balance ambition with feasibility.
