Accumulation Management Analyst (Senior or AVP Level)

Join to apply for the Accumulation Management Analyst (Senior or AVP Level) role at Zurich North America.

Zurich North America is seeking an Accumulation Management Analyst (Senior or AVP Level) to deliver thought leadership and actionable insights regarding natural and man-made catastrophes. The role involves utilizing internal and external Cat Modeling capabilities to assess catastrophe and accumulation risk.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Monitoring and maintaining accumulation, catastrophe, and other exposures within Zurich’s property portfolio.
  2. Collaborating with Business units to optimize accumulations, including those from catastrophes.
  3. Assisting in catastrophe planning, monitoring, and capacity allocation.
  4. Conducting hotspot reviews, Manual Data Calls, and managing Stack/Clash concerns.
  5. Developing frameworks for Next Generation Underwriting and Accumulation Systems/Tools as a subject matter expert.
  6. Researching potential future impacts on accumulations from global changes.
  7. Representing North America in Group discussions on accumulation concerns and priorities.
  8. Modeling specific business segments using approved vendor and internal software models.
Qualifications:
Senior Level:
  • Bachelor’s Degree + 6+ years in Underwriting OR
  • High School Diploma + 8+ years in Underwriting
AVP Level:
  • Bachelor’s Degree + 8+ years in Underwriting OR
  • High School Diploma + 10+ years in Underwriting
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with catastrophe models and their outputs.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance financials and pricing.
  • Ability to handle large datasets.
  • CPCU certification.
  • Knowledge of lines of business and regulatory environments.
  • Ability to multitask and communicate effectively.

At Zurich, compensation varies based on location, experience, and skills. The total salary range is $98,300 - $213,000, with specific ranges for Senior ($98,300 - $161,000) and AVP ($130,000 - $213,000). Short-term incentives are also available.
