The Cigna Group's Accredo internship within the Product team offers hands-on experience supporting Senior and/or Product Advisors on data analysis, project coordination, and cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

You will engage in real-world, applicable work that makes a difference to patients, providers, pharma clients, and our enterprise, with development activities including an executive speaker series and networking opportunities during the 10–12 week summer

DIVISION SUMMARY:

Accredo is a leading provider of specialty pharmacy services, offering a broad range of healthcare products and services for individuals with chronic health conditions, such as hemophilia, oncology, multiple sclerosis, and rheumatoid arthritis. Accredo also provides comprehensive patient management services, including clinical care management programs, patient counseling and education, outcomes measurement, social services and reimbursement services. In this position you will work within the Accredo Product organization. Our Accredo Specialty Pharmacy Product team is comprised of Pharmacy & Clinical Operations and Product & Strategy. The Pharmacy & Clinical teams play a key role in keeping us at the forefront of the specialty pharmacy evolution. Pharmacy and Clinical team members are tasked with managing our Therapeutic Resource Centers, specialty drug lists, and Pharma Client relationships. Our Product & Strategy teams play a key role in creating new and exciting payer client programs, maintaining existing payer client programs, managing copay assistance, building and maintaining digital tools used by patients and providers, and ensuring efficiency in processes across the entire organization. Together all areas help serve patients with complex and chronic health conditions by delivering a level of expertise and individualized care that is unmatched in the market.

JOB SUMMARY:

The summer internship will support Senior and/or Product Advisors and their teams with ad hoc projects related to managing their respective roles and responsibilities within the Accredo product team. These tasks can include data analysis, presentation development, cross-functional project work, administrative work, etc. Your tasks and project assignments will be based on your background knowledge and expertise, as well as your career interests. The goal of the Accredo Product team is to make your internship matter - both to your personal and professional growth, as well as to the success of our organization and its goals. You will be involved in real-world, applicable work that makes a difference to patients, providers, our pharma clients, and our enterprise. Outside of your day-to-day work, you will have the opportunity take part in personal and professional development activities, including an executive speaker series that opens up a dialogue between you and company leaders, community service events, and networking opportunities with employees and other summer interns. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate within your department and across the business- and learn from some of our brightest and most innovative employees in your area of focus.

Schedule:

You must be available to work a 40-hour work week for 10-12 weeks summer 2027, starting in May 2027.

Location:

Hybrid in Saint Louis, MO. A hybrid position means that you will be expected to work in-person at your assigned office location more than 50% of time per week, with flexibility to work at home for balance of time. The internship is paid, and housing assistance is not offered. If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
