Job summary

Florence County is seeking an Accreditation Manager/Special Operations professional to lead the agency in accreditation duties, planning and monitoring assessments, and ensuring compliance across records and policies.

The role involves coordinating with training staff, assembling teams, and representing the Sheriff’s Office in accreditation activities, while maintaining documentation and preparing materials for conferences and audits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in secretarial science, administrative management, accounting, finance or related field with 1–2 years of secretarial, clerical and/or bookkeeping experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accreditation process and report on program efficiency.
• Plan and monitor on-site assessments and maintain records.
• Lead preparations for mock and on-site assessments.
• Provide administrative support to develop and maintain accreditation compliance.
• Collaborate with training officers to maintain all files for compliance.
