Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior accreditation and regulatory services leader to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and state and federal regulations across acute care facilities.

You will develop and implement processes for external accreditation, licensure, and certification; lead knowledge-transfer initiatives; and collaborate with Patient Safety to advance Caring Reliably and create a transparent, learning organization under the Executive Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 5 years experience in acute care (hospital) setting.
• 3 years experience in leadership role for environment of care or emergency management.
• Formal NFPA code training (preferred).
• NIMS training (preferred).

Job description

• Support the Health System with compliance to accreditation standards and state and federal regulations
• Assist with developing processes to maintain external accreditation, licensure, and certification of system acute care entities and other facilities
• Perform staff duties in support of system initiatives
• Lead the development and implementation of new processes, technologies, and resources for knowledge transfer related to accreditation services programs
• Support, in partnership with Patient Safety, the implementation of Caring Reliably
• Support processes that help Providence become a transparent, learning organization
• Work under the general supervision of the Executive Director of Accreditation and Regulatory Services

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, Or equivalent education/experience
• 5 years experience in acute care (hospital) setting
• 3 years experience in leadership role for environment of care or emergency management
• Formal training in NFPA code (preferred)
• NIMS training (preferred)
