Job summary

Wayne UNC Health Care seeks an Accreditation Manager to oversee accreditation and regulatory compliance activities for UNC Health. You will coordinate Joint Commission, CMS and DHSR surveys, ensuring readiness across UNC Health and providing guidance on standards interpretation.

The role entails leading teams, developing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement in alignment with organizational goals. Requires BSN and extensive hospital administration experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field.
• Seven (7) years of experience in administration or patient care in a hospital setting.
• One (1) year of managerial experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead accreditation and survey management- Maintains extensive knowledge of current accreditation standards and related state and federal regulations. Effectively manages Joint Commission, CMS and DHSR surveys.
• Prepare policies and educational materials required for accreditation and regulatory compliance.
• Provide guidance on the interpretation and application of Joint Commission standards, state and federal regulations for stakeholders.
• Lead change to improve organizational performance and ensure readiness for surveys.
