Position Overview

This role is responsible for the specialized processing of accounts receivable transactions in areas such as ERO (Electronic Remittance Operations), Cash Applications, Cash Posting, and Negative Balances. Responsibilities include processing high volumes of adjustments/refunds, cash posting, research, and communication, while maintaining department standards and quality expectations. The role supports inventories and reports variances of concern, following standard operating procedures with general supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing a high volume of out-of-balance adjustments/refunds within the assigned deadlines
• Conducting research and communication to resolve issues
• Supporting inventory management and reporting variances
• Adhering to department SOPs for all processes
• Performing duties with minimal supervision

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• At least one year of experience in insurance, claims, EOB, cash posting, billing, or accounts receivable
• Previous Labcorp RCM or healthcare industry experience preferred
• Ability to meet weekly and monthly production goals post-training
• Strong Excel and computer skills
• Excellent time management and independent work skills
• Effective communication skills

Remote Work Requirements

• High-speed internet (50 Mbps or higher)
• Dedicated home workspace
• Focus and attention to detail for long periods

Compensation and Application Details

Pay Range: $15.00-16.00 or higher depending on state/local minimum wage
