Job summary

US Anesthesia Partners is looking for an Accounts Receivable Representative I – RCM to collect outstanding AR from government and commercial payers. The role includes handling appeals, claim status, and adjusting entries with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years healthcare experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office. Base pay is hourly with a quarterly bonus opportunity, office-based in Austin, TX.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-3 years healthcare experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in professional settings.
• Basic math for reimbursements and adjustments; strong CPT/ICD terminology knowledge.
• Accurate data entry with high attention to detail and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Contact insurance companies for status on outstanding claims.
• Process and follow up on appeals and refiles as needed.
• Manage correspondence and maintain proficiency with spreadsheets.
• Audit adjustment requests and communicate trends to leadership.
• Maintain accuracy rating 97%+ on audited accounts and work in AR queues.
